One year has gone by since you returned home. How I miss the weekly
outing with you. Life has not been the same since you departed, but the
memories you left behind continue to provide comfort. Thank you for the
thirty years of love and guidance you have given me.
You have been my pillar of strength when I was drained. My teacher
throughout my schooling years. My shepherd to the Lord - it was you who
taught me how to pray when I was little. My protector, for always
coming to my defence when I was wronged.
My comforter, for giving reassurance and providing comfort when in pain.
And my role model. A remarkable lady you truly were to have survived
life with dignity throughout the painful war that left you widowed. Your
success as a working mother, caring grandmother, proud great
grandmother and an excellent teacher is something everybody will always
remember you by.
I miss you very dearly. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe in
His kingdom.
Always
loving and never forgetting you,
Dyl.
